Special terms and conditions regarding deposits and credit card pre-registration
These terms and conditions apply to the security deposit (hereinafter referred to as the "Deposit") and credit card credit limit (hereinafter referred to as the "Authorization") required for safe transactions of high-value items in the rental service " XIAOMA RENTAL " (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") operated by ASUBRAND Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"). These are special provisions of the Terms of Use for this Service (" Personal " for individual Members , and "Corporate" for corporate Members) which stipulate the handling of the "Service Terms of Use" ("Personal" for individual Members, and " Corporate " for corporate Members).
Users of this service agree to the contents of these terms and conditions and that these terms and conditions form the content of the contract between our company and the user of this service before using this service, and when they complete their order, they will be treated as having agreed to the contents of these terms and conditions.
Article 1 (Authorization and Receipt of Deposit)

Rental of high-value items In this service, we will authorize the credit card of the user of this service up to the amount equivalent to the sales price of the rental product (hereinafter referred to as the "Product") or an amount separately determined by us. In addition, we will accept cash deposits as an alternative to securing a credit limit with a credit card. Cash deposits are accepted on the condition that you present identification documents during the face-to-face procedure, and will be accepted after confirmation by our staff.

The payment of a deposit or the implementation of an authorization is not an actual invoice of rental money from our company to the user of this service, but a provisional reservation of the credit limit for a certain period of time due to the fact that the target product is a high-priced product. If the target product is returned normally, the authorization of the credit card will be released or the deposit will be refunded in full in cash.
Article 2 (Purpose and scope of use of deposits) )

If the Company determines based on reasonable grounds that the return of the target product is delayed or the target product is lost or damaged or there is a risk of such loss due to reasons attributable to the Service User (excluding cases where the Company has acted intentionally or grossly negligently), the User shall be responsible for the following costs: I agree that the funds may be used to:

Compensation for damages for the product (up to the selling price of the product)

Administrative fees (re-delivery, re-inspection, re-packaging, record keeping, etc.)

The Company may offset the above-mentioned expenses against the credit limit related to authorization or the amount deposited by the user of the Service as a settlement or deposit in an amount equivalent thereto in accordance with separate laws and regulations, and the user of the Service agrees to this .
Article 3 (Handling of late returns)

Users of this service are obligated to strictly adhere to the scheduled return date of the target product, and to store and return the target product in perfect condition with the care of a good manager.

If a user of this service foresees a delay in returning the target product, the user must contact the Company at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled return date.

If the return is delayed for 1 to 3 days without notice , in addition to the provisions of the previous article, the Company may deduct the following fees from the authorized credit limit, settlement or deposit, or process the billing process. The user of this service agrees to this. In addition, the application of this section shall be subject to the provisions of the previous article, paragraph 2:

Article 4 ( Unreturned or Unable to Contact for 3 Days or More)

If the product is not returned within 3 days of the scheduled return date and there is no response to our contact, in addition to the provisions of Article 2 and the previous article, we will assume that the service user is unable to return the product and will take the following measures. The service user agrees to this. In addition, in applying this section, the previous article 2 will apply mutatis mutandis:

Immediately charge the full amount of any authorized credit line or payment or deposit amount

The user of this service will be deemed to have purchased the target product, and any subsequent requests for returns or refunds will not be accepted.

Where necessary, we may report your information to legal authorities or external credit regulators.
Article 5 (Deposit Management and Reapproval)
Managing Credit Card Authorizations

Authorization credit limits are continuously monitored and managed by our system throughout the rental period.

Once we have confirmed that the product has been returned successfully, we will proceed with the procedure to release the credit limit ( ※ The actual timing of the release will depend on the processing by each card company used by the user of this service).

In the unlikely event that the return is delayed, damaged, or a violation of these terms is found, the Company may take appropriate action in accordance with separate laws and regulations. The Service User agrees that the Service may re-apply or process a settlement without requiring any further operation by the Service User. In addition, the preceding Article 2 shall apply mutatis mutandis to the application of this section.
Cash Deposit Management

The cash deposit will be kept securely by our management officer, who will check and record its condition throughout the rental period.

If the product is returned correctly, we will promptly refund the full amount upon receipt of your identification and signature on the "Refund Confirmation Form."

In the event of late return, product damage, or violation of the terms and conditions, we may, at our discretion, take appropriate measures in accordance with the law. The user agrees to the above. In addition, the application of this section shall be subject to the provisions of the preceding article, paragraph 2.
Article 6 (Agreement matters)
The Service User agrees that, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, the Company may pre-authorize, re-authorize or process charges on the credit card as necessary, and shall not object to such.
Article 7 (Cash deposit procedures)

If you wish to make a cash deposit, this will be done in person through our designated procedures.

Article 8 (Changes to these Terms)
In the event that any of the following items apply, the Company may change these Terms of Use by announcing the change on the Service or on the Company's website related to the Service, or by other means that the Company deems appropriate, or by notifying the Customer. Such changes shall become effective from a time separately determined by the Company. Service users should review these Terms of Use from time to time and agree to their contents before using the Service.

Article 9 (Application of Terms of Use)
In addition to the provisions of these Terms, the Terms of Use of the Service (" Personal " for individual members , " Corporate " for corporate members ) shall apply. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these Terms and the Terms of Use of the Service, these Terms shall take precedence.
